Computer science is a very recent and technology-oriented field of science and, as such, results in relatively dynamic collections. In general, the representative academic literature of that field (i.e. proceedings and journals) is available almost exclusively online. On-site however, programming manuals and literature on application software make up the majority of the collections holdings.
