The Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum offers current and historical as well as national and international literature corresponding to the main areas of study of the Department of Rehabilitation Studies.
These areas include: Disability Studies, Deaf Studies, Sign Language Interpretation, Sign Language and Audio Pedagogy, Deaf / Hard of Hearing Pedagogy, Disability Pedagogy, Pedagogy for Learning Disabilities, Pedagogy for Impaired Speech and Behavioral Disorders, General Rehabilitation Pedagogy, Rehabilitation Psychology, Blindness and Education, Rehabilitation Sociology, Professional Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Law, as well as Rehabilitation Engineering and New Media.
Digitised forms like e-books, e-journals, and databases as well as Open Educational Resources (OER) are provided online for registered patrons of the library within the IP area of Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. HU students and staff can also access e-resources off campus via VPN.
