Subject Holdings in the Branch Library
Scandinavian literature as well as research and teaching literature can be found at the Branch Library of German Studies / Scandinavian Studies.
The ground floor (EG) holds a selection of literature pertaining to Theology, Philosophy, Education Studies, and to General Linguistics and Literature Studies. These holdings are shelved according to the Regensburg Classification Scheme (RVK).
A large share of the current subscribed journals is constantly available on the Journal Display Shelves there.
The volumes from the years before are bound and stacked in the Basement.
You can find the actual holdings of Scandinavian Studies in the basement. Sub-groups are General Scandinavian Studies, Scandinavian linguistics and literature studies, as well as literature on the culture and geography of Scandinavia.
Scandinavian Studies in the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum
While the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum does not systematically purchase literature for Scandinavian Studies, it does offer a textbook collection on the ground floor (EG). There you can find multiple copies of basic as well as teaching literature, which are available for issue for university members only.
